What Curoo collects, how we use it, and your choices.
Curoo (“Curoo”, “we”, “us”) is a job-management app for auto repair shops and garages, operated by Teeznar Corp. This policy explains what the app collects, how we use it, and your choices.
Curoo is a business tool used by garage staff. Most information in Curoo is business data that you (the shop) enter about your own operation — vehicles, jobs, customers, estimates and invoices. You remain responsible for the customer information you enter; this policy explains how Curoo handles it on your behalf.
Account information. Curoo uses Sign in with Apple. On your first sign-in Apple may give us your name and an email address (which may be Apple’s private-relay address if you choose to hide your email). Apple provides these only once, at first authorization; on later sign-ins we rely on what we already hold. If you choose not to share them, we may hold only an account identifier.
Business content you enter. Vehicles (including license plate and VIN), customers (names and contact details you enter), jobs, parts and labour, estimates, invoices, payments and comments. This content is stored on your device and synced to your Curoo account so you can use it across sessions and share it with staff you invite to your garage.
Photos — these stay on your device. Photos you attach to a job or part are stored only on the device that took them. The image itself is not uploaded to your Curoo account, is not visible to other staff, and cannot be recovered if the app is deleted or you change device. Only a small record that a photo exists is synced.
Device and diagnostic information. A per-device identifier — Apple’s identifier for vendor, or a random identifier we generate if that is unavailable — together with your account identifier. We use these to secure sign-in (for example, to recognise a new device) and to label diagnostic reports. We also collect crash and hang reports, and app logs which include technical details of failed operations and how long key operations took. We do not use these identifiers to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, your device’s push token is registered with us so we can prompt the app to sync in the background.
Camera. The camera is used only when you choose to scan a vehicle’s VIN barcode or license plate, and to attach photos. We do not access your photo library except for images you explicitly pick.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you or your customers across other apps or companies. Curoo contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking software.

On our servers, personal contact details for users, your customers and your mechanics are additionally encrypted at rest; other business records are stored without field-level encryption. Data on your device is protected by iOS device encryption. Access is restricted to your garage’s organization on our servers — staff of one garage cannot access another garage’s records. On a device, signing in to a different account clears the previous account’s local data. Authentication tokens are stored in the device keychain.
We retain your account and business content for as long as your account is active. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Curoo is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
